Meredith “Mere” Morckel is a writer, teacher, creative consultant, storyteller, speaker, and reluctant optimist who uses her words to educate, entertain, and empower.

She earned her BA in Writing and Psychology from Bluffton University and her MA in Professional Writing from New England College. During work hours she’s a health and wellness blogger for WebMD and she runs the WebMD Fibromyalgia Community group on Facebook. She also writes for HealthDay.com and previously worked for the Cleveland Clinic.

By night she writes fiction, nonfiction, poetry, songs, character-guided journals, and nonsense. Mere is passionate about ceaseless self-improvement, books, mental health, social media, music, dogs, and epic kindness.
